‘CHILDLIKE’ conjures up a perspective of childhood and filtered over adult experiences. The work puzzles over what the meaning of ‘childlike’ is and questions how we distinguish between child and adult worlds. Are they really all that different? Do we not see the world through the same eyes as we used to? In many ways I don’t feel I have transformed into an ‘adult’ as ways that I see, delight and feel frustrated at the world have not changed. Perhaps the constructs of what it is to be ‘adult’ and ‘child’ are not complex enough. At least they don’t define me and I refuse to forget my identity at every age.
